Chemical engineer

Chemical Engineers typically work in research laboratories, manufacturing plants, or pilot plant facilitites. They work around large scale, industrial equipment and are often required to wear personal protective equipments such as gloves, goggles, and hard hats. In a typical workday, these engineers working in a plant may have to "travel" from one area of the facility to another. Chemical engineers who work in business and management offices often visit research and production facilitites.
